MAKEMECHIC Crochet Fringe Beach Cover-Up

A crochet cover-up with a fringe along the hem and a three-quarter sleeve, open in the knit so the swimsuit under it shows through, in white, apricot and black. It goes on over a wet suit at the pool edge and stays on for lunch. Small and medium only, and the knit has a little give.

Crochet catches on a wicker chair and stretches when it is hung wet, so it dries flat over a towel rail. The fringe knots in a machine and comes out straight after a hand wash. Nothing about it is warm: it is shade for the shoulders, not a jumper.
