You can read a MAKEMECHIC dress from the card before you read the page: the neckline, the sleeve and the length are printed under the name, because those three decide whether a dress works with the bra you own and the shoes you were planning. A halter mini with an open back is a different evening from a square-neck maxi with cap sleeves, and the shelf does not pretend otherwise. Sizes run from XXS to XL on most cuts and out to 2XL on a few; the plus-size pieces say so on the card. The babydoll, the swing and the shirred cuts: they hang from the shoulder or the bust and the waist is not fitted, so a body between Medium and Large wears the Medium and nobody can tell. The bodycon minis, the satin slips and the halter dresses with a fitted bodice do not forgive, and for those the chart on the buying page is the only honest guide.

Can you wear a bra with your MAKEMECHIC halter or backless dress?

A halter takes a halter or a convertible bra; a backless cut takes an adhesive or nothing, and the lounge rail sells the adhesive kind. The card prints the neckline and the fit for exactly this reason: an open-back dress is a decision about underwear before it is a decision about colour.

How long is a MAKEMECHIC mini dress on you?

Mini on this rail runs from the top of the thigh to just above the knee, and the buying page gives the length in inches from the shoulder or the waist. Hold that number against a dress you already own before you order: a mini on a model who is five foot nine is a different length on a woman who is five foot three.
