A knit is judged by its gauge and its length, and the card carries the second where the title gives it: cropped is said, long is said. Half of this shelf is a plain or ribbed knit and a fifth of it is denim, the cropped jackets and vests that do a jacket's job in August. Fall is the season most of it was named for, but the sleeveless sweater vests and the short-sleeve knits are summer pieces wearing a winter noun. Will a MAKEMECHIC sweater keep you warm in winter?

They are cut for fall and for an office that runs the air too cold: mid-weight knits, ribbed cardigans and sweater vests rather than heavy wool.
