A beige polka-dot satin top with a puff sleeve to the elbow, a round neck and a loose, cropped body, in small and large. Satin catches the light and the puff is the shape, and the two together are a blouse for a dinner. No stretch in the cloth.

Loose through the body, it forgives a letter either way even with no give in the satin. It sits over a high-waisted trouser, and under a blazer the puff shows at the cuff. Cold wash by hand, a hanger to dry, and no dryer, which would take the shine off the dots.
