A striped pajama set in light grey with a backless tank that fastens behind and a pair of micro shorts with a soft waist. It is a summer set for a room without air, and the stripe keeps it from reading as underwear. Medium stretch throughout.

The shorts sit by the soft waist and the tank by the stretch, so the letter is an easy call. Nothing about it needs an iron, and it dries on a rail before the evening. Under a cardigan the tank passes for a top.

One of 67 on the lounge and intimates rail in the MAKEMECHIC collection. A size letter describes the garment rather than a body, and the way we keep the figures current is set out on how we update the catalogue.

Where this comes from

Threading Your Way Through the Labeling Requirements Under the Textile and Wool Acts · US Federal Trade Commission. What a garment label must state: fibre content by generic name and percentage, country of origin, and who made or marketed it. Fibres under 5% become "other fiber" unless they do a job, which is why spandex is named on a stretch fabric. Read September 1, 2026.
Clothes Captioning: Complying with the Care Labeling Rule · US Federal Trade Commission. The Care Labeling Rule, 16 CFR 423: a washing or drycleaning instruction on every garment, warnings against procedures that would harm it, a reasonable basis in evidence for each instruction, and a label that stays legible for the life of the piece.
